Application for New CTE Programs

Annually, the Department of Career and Technical Education (CTE) accepts applications from high schools principals who are interested in opening new CTE programming at their schools.  This year we are issuing an application to identify schools that would like to open new CTE programs to meet the needs of the school and students, aligned with labor market demands, to provide students with innovative college and career preparation opportunities, and are considered fiscally conservative with the equipment and capital needs.

Once the application is submitted, it will be scored by a team of CTE staff members. Top scoring applications will move on to a facilities review and principal meeting. Schools that do not complete an application will not be considered for any new CTE programming.
