On a rolling basis, the Department of Career and Technical Education (CTE) accepts applications from high school principals who are interested in opening new CTE programming at their schools. We look to expand CTE programming at schools that would to meet the needs of the school and students, are aligned with labor market demands, provide students with innovative college and career preparation opportunities, and are considered fiscally conservative with the equipment and capital needs.
Once the application is submitted, it will be scored by a team of CTE staff members. Top scoring applications will move on to a facilities review and principal meeting. Schools that do not complete an application will not be considered for any new CTE programming.

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. However, applications to open a new CTE program in the 17-18 school year are due by 5pm on January 20, 2017.
You should submit your applications to Alison Regalado Perez, Manager of Strategy & Performance, at firstname.lastname@example.org
